FLO Restaurant Pays it Forward
When a local restaurant wants to say thank you to the community for supporting them through the pandemic lockdown restrictions, they do it in Nourishing Network style - paying it forward! The owners of FLO Restaurant in Bellevue approached Nourishing Networks looking for a way to help contribute to senior meals in the area.
Connections were made with the City of Bellevue and Hopelink who were able to find 20 families where meals were needed. Also, Boy Scout Troop #430 helped to deliver the meals to those seniors, with desserts also provided by The Little Store in Bellevue.
Donata, a Case Manager for Hopelink, shared the wonderful news to the response from those who were able to receive these meals:
“Many families reached out to share how delicious the food was! Everyone is so happy and grateful for this amazing opportunity. It was wonderful to hear all the great things families had to say about the dinner. Thank you very much! We really appreciate your generosity and support!”
This is why Nourishing Networks exists — we bring people together and form the connections between businesses, local governments, organizations, and people to share food resources wherever needed.
