Grocery 2 Go Drivers Needed! IFCB is in need of driver volunteers for our home delivery program! Our Groceries to Go program is growing by 5-7 new families each month. We are in need of volunteers interested in picking up pre-packed groceries here at the food bank twice a month and delivering to local families who can't make it to the food bank. This is a great opportunity to directly assist neighbors in need. Time commitments vary, but typically requires about 2 hours every other week on a Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Interested? Email our volunteer coordinator, Tiffaney, to learn more!

Power Packs Plus: With the help and support of the Issaquah School District, Power Packs Plus boxes are now available in 15 elementary and high schools. Families can pick up our breakfast, lunch, and snack boxes on school materials distribution days. Our Power Packs Plus boxes cost us about $15 per box and we are now giving out more than 1000 boxes per month! If you would like to help ensure kids in our community are well-fueled and ready to learn each week, please consider making a gift today.

Translators Needed: We are searching for Mandarin, Spanish, Ukranian and Russian speaking volunteers to help translate during shopping weeks and break down a common barrier between the food bank and our clients. We also are in need of volunteers who are available to translate paper documents upon request. As we see significant growth in the clients we serve, we are also seeing a growth in the need for translators to help make shopping in our market an inclusive experience for all we serve. If you are interested in offering translation help, please email Tiffaney!

Little Free Pantry: give what you can.  take what you need.

Who We Are: We’re a group of Seattle-area community members working together to address food insecurity      in our neighborhoods by placing small food pantries that can be accessed 24/7 to meet people’s short term needs for food and hygiene. We are an all volunteer run project and have raised nearly $6000 through crowdsourcing, returning 100% to the cost of new pantry builds.  In the past six months, we have placed over 100 Little Free Pantries in Puget Sound-area neighborhoods in partnership with community members and groups to fill the gap in food security that social services, food security organizations, and local governments are not equipped to meet.  We are looking for creative ways to expand our pantry network into other neighborhoods and forge new partnerships to ensure these pantries success.
