KidVantage: Donations Needed
October Pause on Donations: To focus on our mission of delivering kids the essential goods they need, we have decided to take a short break in our community donation collection efforts. To do this, the KidVantage Hubs will pause accepting goods donations for the month of October. We are taking a break from accepting donations to give our volunteers and small staff time to prepare for the high volume of orders that come in during the fall and winter months. Although donation acceptance will be paused in October, there are many ways to stay involved such as volunteering at one of our Hubs, making a financial donation or signing up to participate in a drive or event. The normal donation schedule resumes on November 1st. September Donation Times
Drop off opportunities at our Issaquah Hub: Interested in donating goods? And remember, Have Legos? Donate them to KidVantage!
Birthday Drives: Birthdays are important because it's an opportunity for a child to develop a sense of identity and a feeling of self-worth, as they feel recognized and valued for who they are and their growth over the years. For a family struggling to pay rent, put meals on the table, or afford diapers, birthday gifts aren't going to be a priority. KidVantage wants all kids to experience the joys of celebrating their birthday, AND WE NEED YOUR HELP. This summer we're hosting our Birthday Buddies drives, where you can collect new toys and give parents and caregivers a chance to celebrate their children on their special day! If you'd like to host, visit our website to sign-up! www.kidvantagenw.org/organize-a-drive
