CISC: Reporting Bias or Hate Support Available Flyer in English Flyer in Multiple Languages Bilingual staff collect hate and bias incident reports and assist clients using trauma-informed and culturally and linguistically relevant practices. CISC and our community partners, United Territories of Pacific Islanders Alliance - WA, 한인생활상담소 - Korean Community Service Center - KCSC, and Filipino Community of Seattle, are here to help If you have witnessed or experienced an act of bias or hate. - CISC and our community partners are not an emergency service. WA Attorney General: New Hotline for Reporting Hate Crimes & Bias Incidents Starting July 1, 2025 Washington launches a hate crimes and bias incidents hotline pilot in three counties across the state. The non-emergency hotline provides people in Clark, King, and Spokane counties an alternative way to report hate crimes or bias incidents.. Hotline staff will help callers find local, culturally competent, victim-centered, and trauma-informed support services and, with consent of the caller, can assist in reporting incidents to local law enforcement. The hotline is available by calling 1-855-225-1010. Anyone who wants to report a hate crime or bias incident in the three pilot counties can also visit atg.wa.gov/report-hate. King County Coalition Against Hate and Bias To anonymously report hate and bias incidents Hate and bias incidents against Asian Americans have risen since the emergence of the coronavirus. To provide culturally and linguistically appropriate support for the community, CISC and its Coalition partners are administrators of the Hate and Bias Incident Response Survey to collect data from communities affected by hate and bias. No personal or identifying information is shared with OESJ or any governing body, nor collected in the administration of the Coalition’s survey. Eastside For All: Sacred Circle: BIPOC Healing Space Feb 10, 2026
We want to warmly invite you to our healing space for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) folks to rest their hearts bodies and minds. We will have space to chat, craft, and connect. Maximum of 20 spaces available per session. This space is curated by and for the Black and Brown community, all are welcome to apply but priority in the space is for BIPOC. This is also a safe space for 2SLBGTQIA+. Light Refreshments and snacks will be provided. We are here to offer emotional support, raise awareness, connection, and advocacy. Bring your latest art project to work on!
KCLS: Misunderstood Moments Exhibition - with Lens of Youth - View all dates Sammamish Feb 14 - March 3
Misunderstood Moments by Lens of Youth shares real stories of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD), paired with original artwork created by youth. The program also features original artwork by neurodivergent artists. Some behaviors associated with IDD are often misunderstood, not because of intent, but because they are unfamiliar. Through stories and art, this program invites the community to pause and see individuals beyond assumptions or behaviors. Visitors are encouraged to engage with the exhibit, take part in reflection activities, and sign a community pledge to: - Take time to understand - See the person, not the behavior - Choose compassion and build inclusion. Together, these small actions help build a more understanding and inclusive community, one story at a time.

Pride Across the Bridge: Rainbow Elder Play & Connect at Crossroads Community Center
Unplug, play, and connect at Rainbow Elder Play & Connect, a monthly gathering for LGBTQ+ older adults. Beginning February 2026, join us every third Saturday afternoon at Crossroads Community Center for board games, conversation, and community. No registration is required. Questions? KCLS: Renton LGBTQ+ Youth Group Renton
This free support group is open to ages 11 to 22 who identify as LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer, plus other identities like non-binary, gender non-conforming, etc.) and for youth who may be questioning or exploring their gender or sexual identities. Outdoors For All Foundation: Now at Lake Sammamish State Park!
This new location is a huge step in expanding adaptive recreation opportunities for people of all abilities to enjoy the great outdoors and we are thrilled to be on the Eastside. Daily through Sept. 30 (with limited operation in October) and starting back up next May, the popular state park and Outdoors for All will offer more opportunities to ride and paddle for people with disabilities. As the first Eastside branch, the site will provide for cycling, kayaking, paddleboarding and summer day camp

Starting in November 2024, we’ll be holding weekly office hours. The Circle: Community Navigation
The Circle provides a safe space where individuals and families come together to learn, celebrate, and contribute boldly to their communities. We welcome and help individuals and families to get the resources that they need and to become active community members while building cultural competence. We offer community navigation services, events, and educational workshops.
Lambert House has ongoing programs 7 days a week on 5 different platforms. Upcoming events include a discussion of the Americans with Disabilities Act and intersectionality with LGBTQ rights), Coming Out, and an LGBTQ joint book club event with KCLS teens. Language Interpreters: Get an interpreter in your language for library service. American Sign Language is available at some locations. Ask staff for Language Line, a company that provides interpreters by phone and online. When you call the library, you can talk with an interpreter by phone. When you visit the library, you can talk or sign with an interpreter by video or audio on an app. Or, you can talk with an interpreter by phone.
The Welcoming Center: For immigrants, refugees and new arrivals. Connect to the people and resources in the area you live. Are you an immigrant, refugee or new to the community and need help finding resources? Connect with a Welcoming Ambassador, a friendly person who can help you find information and services.
