Resources for Reporting Hate Crimes and Bias Incidents

CISC: Reporting Bias or Hate Support Available Flyer in English Flyer in Multiple Languages Bilingual staff collect hate and bias incident reports and assist clients using trauma-informed and culturally and linguistically relevant practices. CISC and our community partners, United Territories of Pacific Islanders Alliance - WA, 한인생활상담소 - Korean Community Service Center - KCSC, and Filipino Community of Seattle, are here to help If you have witnessed or experienced an act of bias or hate. - CISC and our community partners are not an emergency service. WA Attorney General: New Hotline for Reporting Hate Crimes & Bias Incidents Starting July 1, 2025 Washington launches a hate crimes and bias incidents hotline pilot in three counties across the state. The non-emergency hotline provides people in Clark, King, and Spokane counties an alternative way to report hate crimes or bias incidents.. Hotline staff will help callers find local, culturally competent, victim-centered, and trauma-informed support services and, with consent of the caller, can assist in reporting incidents to local law enforcement. The hotline is available by calling 1-855-225-1010. Anyone who wants to report a hate crime or bias incident in the three pilot counties can also visit atg.wa.gov/report-hate.  Learn more about the pilot program at link above.

King County Coalition Against Hate and Bias To anonymously report hate and bias incidents Hate and bias incidents against Asian Americans have risen since the emergence of the coronavirus. To provide culturally and linguistically appropriate support for the community, CISC and its Coalition partners are administrators of the Hate and Bias Incident Response Survey to collect data from communities affected by hate and bias. No personal or identifying information is shared with OESJ or any governing body, nor collected in the administration of the Coalition’s survey. KCLS & Eastside Pride: Gender 101 Redmond Nov 15, 2025

Here's a great opportunity to learn about gender and sexuality...what does it all mean, what are the differences, why are pronouns important and more. This hybrid session is taught by JES RAU (they/them) who is an experienced justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion (JEDI) trainer with over 20 years of experience. They specialize in supporting those who are new to conversations about JEDI topics, providing knowledge and tools for on-going learning. Hosted by Eastside Pride PNW and King County Library System. KCLS: Renton LGBTQ+ Youth Group View all dates Renton

This free support group is open to ages 11 to 22 who identify as LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer, plus other identities like non-binary, gender non-conforming, etc.) and for youth who may be questioning or exploring their gender or sexual identities.  In partnership with Lambert House. Outdoors For All Foundation: Now at Lake Sammamish State Park! 

This new location is a huge step in expanding adaptive recreation opportunities for people of all abilities to enjoy the great outdoors and we are thrilled to be on the Eastside.  Daily through Sept. 30 (with limited operation in October) and starting back up next May, the popular state park and Outdoors for All will offer more opportunities to ride and paddle for people with disabilities. As the first Eastside branch, the site will provide for cycling, kayaking, paddleboarding and summer day camp

Lake Sammamish Adaptive Cycling Center: Open April 17-September 30, 2025 Come visit us for our second year of adaptive cycling at Lake Sammamish State Park! Adaptive bikes are available 7 days a week from 10 am – 6 pm. The cost is free to riders and available for people with disabilities ages 7+. Free rentals apply only to cycles used on-site, departing from, and returning to the Adaptive Cycling Center in the same day. All bikes are available on a first-come first-served basis. Volunteers for Day of the Dead Celebration We are seeking volunteers to help organize this year's Day of the Dead Celebration in Issaquah. We will hold a meeting next Wednesday, October 1st, at 7 p.m. to discuss the event details and volunteer roles. We hope many of you can join this wonderful team, meet new friends, and serve the community!

The Circle provides a safe space where individuals and families come together to learn, celebrate, and contribute boldly to their communities. We welcome and help individuals and families to get the resources that they need and to become active community members while building cultural competence. We offer community navigation services, events, and educational workshops.

Lambert House

Lambert House has ongoing programs 7 days a week on 5 different platforms. Upcoming events include a discussion of the Americans with Disabilities Act and intersectionality with LGBTQ rights), Coming Out, and an LGBTQ joint book club event with KCLS teens. Cultural Bridges

is a program of Issaquah Schools Foundation that helps build relationships between families from diverse cultures and languages, their children, the ISD, and the broader Issaquah community through outreach, events, mentoring, translation services and a magazine published in multiple languages.

King County Library System:

Language Interpreters: Get an interpreter in your language for library service. American Sign Language is available at some locations. Ask staff for Language Line, a company that provides interpreters by phone and online. When you call the library, you can talk with an interpreter by phone.  When you visit the library, you can talk or sign with an interpreter by video or audio on an app. Or, you can talk with an interpreter by phone.

The Welcoming Center: For immigrants, refugees and new arrivals. Connect to the people and resources in the area you live.  Are you an immigrant, refugee or new to the community and need help finding resources? Connect with a Welcoming Ambassador, a friendly person who can help you find information and services.

 Eastside Pathways Data Council: Eastside Pathways is looking for Data Council members! The Data Council are group of individuals from partner organizations with demonstrated experience or expertise in measurement, evaluation, data analysis, data science, or continuous improvement.  Eastside Pathways Communications Council: Eastside Pathways is starting a Communications Council and are looking for members that are interested in joining.  Eastside Pathways Parent/Caregiver Council: Eastside Pathways’ Parent Caregiver Council is planned to be launched in May, with a mixer in April for those interested. This Council aims to have representation from parent and caregiver leadership in East King County. Engaging parents and caregivers as consultants and advocates for our children and youth in co-designing solutions and decision-making process to improve outcomes, reduce harm and increase equity every step of the way. IACS follows a model of community outreach that makes taking part in community activities accessible for members who live in various cities across the Pacific Northwest.
